What is “negativity bias,” and how do we stay positive in spite of it?

Ever notice how you can be showered with compliments all day long, but when you receive one negative comment from an internet troll, you find you can’t stop obsessing about it? This is your negativity bias taking the driver’s seat. It’s not a bad thing as you’ll see in today’s exercise, but if it is the only lens you see the world through, you’re probably not going to be a ton of fun to be around.
